Grass cutting & strimming 

I'll cut your grass, strimmer round edges of fencing and drying poles etc and provide turf edging for that fresh clean look should you desire that too.

I can also provide lawn care services to get your lawn looking it's absolute best. This can involve treating your lawn to root out weeds such as dandelion and thistle as well as reseeding thin and bald patches.

Hedge trimming

I will give your hedge that good close trim it so frequently requires during the spring and summer months for that tidy maintained look. 

Weeding

I will carry out weeding, by hand, on all areas covered by soil and areas covered by stones or chips. 

I can also weed and carry out moss removal between paving slabs, mono blocking or any other areas needing serviced. 

After weed removal and to keep weeds at bay I can carry out a pro active treatment by spraying strong weed killer ie Weedol, or if pets or children are a concern I can spray a more natural but effective solution made of vinegar and salt should you desire this service. 

Planting and plant care

I can prune and shape already existing plants. Cutting away old growth and deadheading to promote new stronger growth and flowering. 

I can feed your plants with the appropriate plant food to make them look their stunning best and prolong flowering all season long.

If you're looking to put new plants into the ground or in pots/planters I'm more than happy to share my years of knowledge on which plants may be best suited to a specific area.

I can plant and advise on your hanging baskets to ensure that explosion of colour all season long.

Light tree pruning

Although the big trees are tackled rightly so by the experts I am happy to do some light pruning on smaller trees up to 20 feet

Cleaning outdoor areas

Decking cleaning & maintenance 

After brushing your decking I will pre-soak it with a deck cleaning solution. I then use a powerful battery powered deck scrubbing brush to give your deck an intensive clean so it's free from all dirt, debris and mildew. 

Thought should also be given to the preservation of your decking. Once it's clean, I can also oil, stain, or paint your deck to help protect it from the Scottish elements. 

Patio, Path & Driveway cleaning

Firstly I will remove all weeds, moss, dirt and debris then brush clean the area. Your patio, path or driveway will then be pre soaked with a cleaning solution then cleaned using a high power battery operated brush machine to give that dull, dirty area a new lease of life. 

BBQ cleaning

I can clean your bbq grill(s), sweep out ash deposits,  clean ash collection tray and clean grease collection pot. 

It's possibly one of most people's least favourite tasks but I'll do it so you can be ensured the hygiene of your grill is ready for next use.

Painting of outdoor structures

Fence, shed and garage painting

I will paint or stain any wooden structure in your garden. From fences, sheds, garages, gazebos, benches etc

I can also pick up the paint/stain product for you, as a convenience, as long as the exact product info is given to me. 

Metal gates and railings painting

I will steel brush down your metal gate and railings to remove old debris and rust before applying an outdoor metal paint of your choice. 

I can also paint it in any design you want ie. alternating colors on spars, different coloured top and frame than spars etc. 

Protecting outdoor features 

I can paint or oil any of your garden furniture such as chairs, benches etc and decorative features such as gazebos. This adds years of life to these items. As you can see in the image below from this bench I oiled, you can see how it acts as a barrier in stopping the water soak in which would eventually start the rotting process.

Storage boxes 

I can also build different style storage boxes to disguise wheelie bins, barbecues or for keeping outdoor chairs and cushions in ( as in the pic below )

I can build your new fence, mainly in the 4 styles detailed below and always using 4 inch (100mm) posts and quality timber.

Ranch style fence - double sided

Ranch style fences are horizontal double sided fences using wide slats which alternate each side of the post. Benefits being they let plenty wind through at windy times and still provide privacy. 

Ranch style fence - single sided 

These ranch style fences are horizontal single sided fences using wide slats which are attached to the same side of the post. Benefit being they let plenty wind through at windy times although privacy is slightly compromised due to the space between slats. Offers a good boundary at a slightly cheaper price than double sided ranch style. 

Vertical slatted fence

This fence has slimmer slats than the ranch style fences and positioned in a vertical position on a post and rail framework. Benefit of this style is it lets wind through on windy days. Offers decent privacy as gaps between slats can be made very small. 

Fence panelling

Fence panels come in various sizes. Benefit being they offer the best privacy but they do tend to be made from cheap panel pins and thinly cut wood. Prone to damage in stormy weather.

Fence repair

If you experience fence damage, for whatever reason, I can repair it back to its former glory.
